Biography
Lee McConville
Born in South Wales in 1954, moved to England aged two. Now living in Halesworth, Suffolk. I worked for many years in the fashion industry designing for my shop. Changed direction twelve years ago to become an obsessive and driven artist. Essentially an intuitive painter, I respond to colour, texture and mood. Most of my work is from my imagination, half remembered images, people I have seen in a world that always seems to border on farce. Currently working in ink, charcoal and collage.
